BBA – Belgian Bankers Academy, a brand of PPMGL Group, in consortium with Congo Challenge, has been shortlisted to deliver a capacity-building programme for regulators and supervisors of payment systems in the DRC. This mission is part of the Project to Support the Development of the Financial System and Financial Inclusion (PADSFI), coordinated by the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Congo (BCC), with support from the African Development Bank. 🌍🏦

🚀 A structuring project for financial inclusion in the DRC

PADSFI aims to strengthen financial stability and accelerate sustainable inclusion. In practice, it supports financial-sector reforms, modernises payment systems supervision, and integrates emerging topics such as FinTech, digital payments, and cyber risks. The goal: a safer, interoperable, and accessible payments infrastructure serving individuals, businesses, and public administrations. 🔒📲

🎯 Strengthening DRC payment systems: objectives and outcomes

Our mission combines training, tooling, and hands-on support for BCC teams and partner institutions. Expected outcomes include:

✅ upskilling on international standards for oversight/supervision;
✅ risk analysis and management (operational, technological, cyber);
✅ adoption of modern monitoring and alerting tools;
✅ enhanced operationalisation of governance and incident-management frameworks;
✅ regulatory adaptation to innovation (digital payments, FinTech, new instruments).

To build a rapidly deployable pool, BBA (PPMGL Group) is seeking senior experts in:

🗂️ Pedagogical coordination / management of training missions (multi-stakeholder steering, programme delivery, quality assurance)
🏫 Continuing training & learning design applied to finance (curricula, assessment of learning outcomes, knowledge capitalisation)
💳 Payment systems & digital payments (central-bank/supervisory experience or recognised certification; interoperability, security, cyber risk)
